First, long running alternative screamo band Underoath have a new album coming out this September and they've uploaded one of the new songs Desperate Times Desperate Measures to their myspace (www.myspace.com/underoath). This song will be no surprise to Underoath fans, as they have kept to their same sound that has always worked. Most bands are taking new directions lately and even though it's good to experiment and develop musically, many bands change for the worse so it's good to see Underoath using the same sound.

Think about Fall Out Boy's new sound; RnB mixed with pop punk. Personally I really don't think it works for them, but The Cab are example where it can work. Their catchy pop songs with huge chorus' are mixed with break downs and harmonies. And speaking of Fall Out Boy, their frontman Patrick Stump features on debut single One Of Those Nights along with Panic At The Disco's Brendon Urie.
Recommended songs: One Of Those Nights, Take My Hand.

There aren't that many pop punk bands that are from the UK. There are the few like You Me At Six and Tonight Is Goodbye who get a lot of hype but the majority of bigger bands all hail from the US. Coming from Beaconsfield, this is a band that the UK should be proud of. They're your typical pop punk band, but replacing the whiney-voiced vocalist for a singer with a smoother deep singing voice, and like pop punk fans would be used to- catchy upbeat songs with stop-start drum effects and infectious chorus'.
Recommended songs: Time To Change, Amongst The Saints We March.
-Talking about You Me At Six, I can't stop playing them at the moment. I know everyone liked them a long time ago but I only thought they were average then. I downloaded loads more of their songs and I love them now. They're one of the best pop punk bands I've heard in a long time and I really hope I can catch them on their October UK tour. A Girl Called Kate

This is a quirky electro band from Peterborough. They have simple beats but they're so effective and incredibly catchy, and the singer has a really strong voice to go over it. They're just a really lovable band and I'd say you're an immediate fan if you're into bands like Trash Fashion and We Smoke Fags. Watch out for their songs The Plan with the really mental intro, you'll know what I mean.
Recommended songs: Avocados In The Morning, The Plan.
I'M MEANT TO BE ADDING MORE TO THIS POST BUT I'VE GOT TO GO :)
