Why hi.

Hiiii, I'm Lily. I've never had a blog before that lasted more than a day I don't think. Basically I'm always finding new music but don't really share the bands with anyone so I thought it's about time I did. That's what this blog will be used for. There will be mostly indie and pop punk but I like a variety of music so yeah. Please post your comments on the bands and I'll try to keep this blog posted. Thankss!

Well I'll start now cause I've found quite a few bands today.

The first band is called Maths Class.

They're an indie band from Brighton (which I've noticed is an amazing place for indie music). I heard of these quite a while back but only just listened to their new song Nerves today. It isn't as catchy as the stuff I'd heard before and I much prefer the other 2 songs on their myspace. Have a listen ;]

The next band are The Vines.

Yeahh, this band have been going around for years but 'Get Free' came on Kerrang! TV today and I realised I'd never listened to anymore of their songs. Now I've actually listened, I'm ashamed of myself. They're an upbeat indie punk band and have a new album out called Melodia. But their song Anysound from their 2006 album Vision Valley is what I'd recommend.

Then there's Shrag.

Another band from Brighton, these are a pop indie female fronted band who have some riot grrrl aspects to them. The riot grrrl revolution should have never died out so I like to see bands that are keeping it going like this one, Das Wunderlust and Gossip. Anyway, listen to New Favourites.
